In Memoriam, Stuart G. Newman

April 22, 1922 – March 24, 2019

Stuart Gordon Newman passed a little less than a month before his 97th birthday following a brief illness. Stuart started his public relations agency in Miami in 1946, upon his return from service in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He remained active in the agency’s business and financial operations through February, and he completed a transatlantic Cunard Line cruise in January — though his bucket list was far from empty.

On this page we have collected articles marking his passing that surveyed his long and storied career in public relations and contributions to higher education.
