Costa Cruises Welcomes Bing Bunny On Board for a Summer of Family Fun

Costa Cruises and Acamar Films, the production company of the famous animated series Bing Bunny, have partnered to bring the beloved character of children all over the world on board the Italian company’s ships.

Starting this summer aboard Costa’s flagships Costa Toscana and Costa Smeralda, guests will have the opportunity to meet Bing, the central character of the famous animated series. The Bing Bunny series is the most viewed on Rai Play for Italy, and has been among the top three downloadable for 10 consecutive years on BBC iplayer, as well as available in more than 130 countries around the world.

Each week on board the two ships there will be events and activities, such as a meet & greet with the Bing costume character, during which children will be able to hug their favorite cartoon character; theme parades and parties, which will encourage interactions between children on board; and many other fun and musical activities.

Bing, an animation program seen at least once by 2.2 billion people worldwide, with more than 7 billion views on YouTube obtained through channels in 34 different countries and more than 1 million hours of total replays every day, has been able to distinguish itself over the years for the very high educational and character value of its stories, which narrate the micro-dramas of children’s daily lives in a highly authentic and educational way. Thanks to the intimate relationship that Bing has been able to establish with his young fans, families have welcomed him and his friends into their homes, embracing the teachings expressed in each episode of the animated series and integrating the characters’ lives into their own daily lives.

During the summer of 2024, Costa Toscana and Costa Smeralda will visit Italy, France and Spain on weeklong cruises, exploring timeless destinations, cities of art, beaches and beautiful landscapes. Costa Smeralda will visit Marseille, France; Barcelona, Spain; and Cagliari, Naples, Genoa and Civitavecchia/Rome, Italy, while Costa Toscana will call at, Marseille; Barcelona; Ibiza, Spain; and Savona, Palermo and Civitavecchia/Rome, Italy.
