Costa Cruises is celebrating amore Italian-style this Saint Valentine’s Day with romantic activities, dreamy dinners and meaningful offerings. Guests who want to have fun on the high seas can enjoy love songs performed poolside with special dedications, arts and crafts for kids and fun games for couples, including a challenge for the longest underwater kiss.
The celebration of love continues into the evening with themed parties and romantic performances by the on-board musicians. With love in the air, guests can spin their sweetheart around the dance floor, couples can participate in the Saint Valentine’s Animation Game and singles can mingle at the Cheers and Chat Party.
Nothing says “I love you” more than a special dinner. At the entrance to each restaurant, guests will be offered a Rossini flute, and all women will be welcomed with a fresh red rose. Guests can enjoy romantic Italian offerings from a menu created for the occasion by Costa’s chefs. Spice up the night with a special “Passion Heart” dessert presented with a Prosecco flute or a nonalcoholic beverage.
An Italian celebration wouldn’t be complete without dolce. At Gelateria Amarillo there will be two themed San Valentino cakes, a Valentine’s ice cream flavor made of raspberries and strawberries from Agrimontana and Nutella crepes with a heart-shaped raspberry or strawberry composition. Pizzeria Pummid’Oro fuels the romance with heart-shaped pizzas.
Guests can toast to the most romantic day of the year with a special Saint Valentine’s cocktail. At a dedicated bar on every ship will be an aperitif happy hour in which the Forever Together specialty cocktail will be offered free of charge. In addition, a Valentine’s Day beverage promotion will be available. The special Saint Valentine’s cocktail will be included in the MyDrinks and MyDrinks Plus package.
