RESORTQUEST TO LAUNCH $1-A-DAY VACATION TREASURE HUNT JAN. 19

FORT WALTON BEACH, FLA. (Jan. 14, 2010) — Intrepid value-seekers who successfully solve clues in ResortQuest’s Vacation Treasure Hunt will earn a chance to win a five-night stay in one of the nation’s premier ski destinations for just $1 a day. The treasure hunt, which features a different destination every week for 11 weeks, begins Jan. 19 and ends March 30. A new contest starts at noon EST every Tuesday.

To discover the week’s treasure, participants navigate through ResortQuest’s Web site at www.resortquest.com to locate a hidden treasure map icon. The treasure map will reveal the toll-free number and promotion code needed to call and claim the prize. The Web site will offer clues that, when unraveled, will help treasure hunters figure out the location of the week’s treasure map. New clues will be added until someone finds the map and calls to claim the treasure.

Each week ResortQuest will select a vacation rental property — a condo, vacation home or hotel suite — at one of its ski destinations in Aspen, Breckenridge/Keystone or Steamboat, Colo.; Park City, Utah, or Sun Valley, Idaho, to be the treasure.

“Our goal is to create awareness and excitement about the vacation rental industry and to show consumers how easy it is to navigate through our Web site and book a vacation online,” said Cheryl Spezia, vice president of marketing for ResortQuest. “We offer so much value and so many options, people can choose exactly what they want in a vacation at a fantastic destination.”

Each ResortQuest ski destination offers a variety of unique vacation rentals in a distinctive resort town.

Aspen rentals provide access to the slopes of four resort mountains and fantastic ski-in/ski-out accommodations. Off the slopes, Aspen offers high-end shopping, five-star dining and trendy nightclubs.

Breckenridge vacation rental accommodations include ski-in/ski-out, Main Street and condos just steps from the charming shops and unique dining venues of the Victorian-style downtown.

Keystone properties are located in various neighborhoods, with dozens of vacation rentals in 18 properties ranging from a condo for the budget-savvy vacationer to a luxury townhome retreat.

Park City and Deer Valley offer condos and vacation rentals for vacationers looking to stay at one of the most accessible ski destinations in the world that’s also home to the Sundance Film Festival.

Steamboat offers deluxe one- to five-bedroom condos and townhomes at ski-in locations or rentals only a few blocks from the ski lifts and just a 10-minute drive from historic downtown Steamboat Springs.

Sun Valley has more than 200 condominiums and vacation homes for rent at Elkhorn, River Run/Ketchum, Sun Valley Village, Warm Springs and Mid-Valley offering amenities and activities to fit any budget.
